Biography of CEO
Mr. Yoshito Shubiki is the Founder & CEO of Shubiki Corporation. The company, founded as a consulting firm, is a cross-media digital content provider of various business subjects. The content, including over 650 pre-packaged titles under the brand name of "BISCUE Business Content", are supplied in various medias such as e-learning, mobile, and DVD among others. The organizational users include global corporations, small- and medium-sized companies, governmental agencies, public organizations, and universities.
Through consulting, lectures and publications, he advocates the next-generation learning organization (LO) by using web 2.0, communication and content technologies. His focus is on the bottom-up LO integrating the concept of communities of practice in each level of the organization which leads to CSR or SR by developing learning communities and societies. He is an author of "Where are Japanese Companies? - To build the next-generation learning organization - (in Japanese)." He advocates LO through lectures abroad in locations including the ASTD International Conference and Expo and Harvard Asia Business Conference. He received his BE in Information Physics from The University of Tokyo in 1975, worked for Sumitomo Corporation in their global marketing and then joined Shubiki Corporation as the CEO in 1987. He now works as the Director for e-Learning Consortium Japan.
